October 2016 Support Ticket Highlights

The SEO Library October 2016 highlights and ticket statuses have been posted to the SEO Consortium News and Announcements on the SEO Support site.

This section of the Support site will contain information pertaining to the following:

  • Support ticket snapshots for the previous month including the subject and ticket number.
  • Support ticket statistics by service department with ticket statuses.
  • The SEO IT Services began supporting the Who's On My WiFi project which allows libraries to monitor and count the number of devices on their wireless network.  This tool will enable libraries to complete the State Annual Report.  All SEO members were notified in the month of October.

Dianna Clark and Judith Cosgray attended a telephone conference call with Missy Lodge and Mandy Knapp for planning the Ohio Digital Library’s MOU requirements for CY2017.

Matt Motes traveled to the Delaware County District Library for ‘On-Demand" training on Troubleshooting Devices and Petting Zoo. Matt provided two sessions with a total of 14 attending

Judith Cosgray and Paula Clark attended a telephone conference call with Mandy Knapp for reviewing the procedures of collecting and organizing the ODL MOU’s.

October 5-6, 2016

John Stewart, Matt Motes, Paula Clark, Judith Cosgray and Dianna Clark attended the installation and training for the Indus Book Scanner at the F. Ward Murrey Annex.

Josh Neiser, Unique Management, met with Dianna Clark at the SEO Library Center to discuss the possibility of a pilot of their Chat Support Service for the Ohio Digital Library download and content.

The SEO Staff Appreciation Day event was held for all staff with Beverly Cain and Stephanie Herriott attending from the State Library. Service pins and certificates were presented to those at 5-year mile stones.

Matt Motes traveled to the Warren-Trumball Public Library for ‘On-Demand" training on Android audiobooks and ebooks, iPad audiobooks and ebooks. Matt provided two sessions with a total of 34 attending.

Dianna Clark, John Stewart and Matt Motes attended the State Library Board Development Meeting at the Central Technical College in Pataskala. The Board attended the ribbon cutting for the Licking County Library’s ‘24/7 Library in a Box located in the parking lot of CTC prior to their meeting.
