We have compiled a list of questions and answers regarding the upgrade process scheduled for Monday, August 13th, beginning at 1:00 AM EST. If you have additional questions that are not answered, please submit a ticket to the IT department and we will do our best to answer your question and post it here.
Can we install the new software at the close of business for the weekend (Saturday or Sunday), but not configure the connection to the server?
Yes, you can upgrade on Saturday or Sunday once you are closed; but please do not attempt any live connections until our server is fully upgraded on Monday.
Yes, you will still be able to use the new client in offline mode and will reconnect when the Symphony server is upgraded.
You will be able to login as normal upon opening. If there is any delay with the upgrade, we will notify each library system of any set backs. The library system will then be responsible for notifying their branches.
