Replacing a User's Card

This article will demonstrate how to replace a user's card or lost card (user's id).


To designate a card as lost, please follow the steps below:
  1. In the Circ Module, open the Modify User Wizard
  2. Using the User Search Helper, search for the patron account you wish to modify.
  3. When you have located the correct user, click Modify User.
  4. In the User ID field, delete the old number and scan or type in the new number.
  5. If the new ID is scanned in it will update & save the record automatically and you will need to click on Make More Changes.
  6. Go to the User ID Manager Helper and highlight the ID you just replaced and move it over to the DISCARD IDS column. Click OK.
  7. Click on the Extended Info Tab
  8. Highlight the Previous User ID number.
  9. Click the Delete Field button. (the icon with the RED X)
  10. Click Save.
