PRE-INSTALL NOTES: READ BEFORE INSTALLING THE CLIENT
- WorkFlows must be installed as the Administrator
New Installation
Click the following link to download the Symphony client and choose Save if prompted:
Once downloaded, right-click and choose Run as administrator.
- You will be prompted whether or not you want to allow the app to make changes on your computer. Choose Yes.
- Next you will be asked to either Install a new instance or Maintain or upgrade an existing instance. Choose Install a new instance and click Next.
- The WorkFlows upgrade installation will begin. Follow each step and choose next until the InstallShield Wizard Completes
- Click Finish and WorkFlows will launch.
- Once the WorkFlows configuration window is launched, click Cancel and re-launch as the non-admin user.
- Once you re-launch WorkFlows, you may now login using your library's User ID: and PIN.
- To verify you have upgraded WorkFlows successfully, please go to Help > About and verify the version is 4.1.0.xxx
The WorkFlows client install is now complete. If you have any trouble, please open a ticket or send an email to support@servingeveryohioan.org.
