AVAIL_SOON & CATALOGING Current Location Maintenance Report

Retrieving Items in AVAIL_SOON or CATALOGING Locations

There are two methods to retrieve items that have remained in AVAIL_SOON or CATALOGING locations for more than 30 days:

• Item Group Editor
• BLUEcloud Analytics

Item Group Editor Method

Note: This method is available for TECH and MANAGER logins only.

1. In the Item Group Editor Wizard, input your library code in the Library field.
2. Enter the location criteria in the Current Locationfield:
   • For Available Soon items: AVAIL_SOON
   • For Cataloging items: CATALOGING
   • For both: AVAIL_SOON|CATALOGING
3. Click the gadget icon in the Date created field.
4. Select the Before operator. Either type the date (30 days prior to today) in mm/dd/yyyy format or use the calendar gadget to select it.
5. Click Search.
6. A list of items will be returned. You can print this list by selecting File > Print Screen.

   

BLUEcloud Analytics Method

1. Locate the AVAILABLE SOON / CATALOGING REPORT in the BCA OHIO > Shared Reports > SEO REPORTS > MAINTENANCE folder.
2. In the Item Library Code prompt, select your library and click the single chevron arrow to move it to the Selectedcolumn.

   

3. In the Current Location prompt, select AVAIL_SOON, CATALOGING, or use the double chevron to select both.

   

4. In the Item Created Dateprompt, use the calendar widget to select the date 30 days before today.

   

5. Click Run Report.
