With the new Xbox Series X gaming console, many games are being produced that are compatible with both the Xbox One and Xbox Series X on the same disc. For these items, please use the [VIDEO GAME (Xbox One)] GMD. The decision to use this GMD is due to the fact that all Xbox One games will work on the Xbox Series X, but the inverse is not always true. If the game is only compatible for Xbox Series X, use the [VIDEO GAME (Xbox Series X)] GMD.
Here are a few examples:
The edition statement (250) indicates the game is playable on the Xbox One as well as the Xbox Series X. The general note (500) indicates the same. The GMD should be [VIDEO GAME (Xbox One)]
In this case, the edition statement (250) and the system details note (538) indicate that this game requires the Xbox Series X, so the GMD should be [VIDEO GAME (Xbox Series X)]
