Managing Claims Returned Items
The Claims Returned Items report can be viewed and managed using BLUEcloud Analytics.
What to do: Each month, library staff are expected to look for claims returned items in the stacks. Check in any items found to update their status.
Retention: After twelve months, any items remaining in Claims Returned status will be discarded automatically.
BLUEcloud Analytics Instructions
- Locate the Claims Returned by Item Library report in BLUEcloud Analytics. It is found in the BCA OHIO > Shared Reports > SEO REPORTS > MAINTENANCEfolder.

- In the prompts, click on your Library Code and use the single chevron arrow to move it to the Selected column.
- Click Run Report.
