CATALOGING Home Location Maintenance Report

Retrieving Items with CATALOGING Home Location

There are two methods to retrieve a list of items that have the home location set to CATALOGING:

What to do: Each month, cataloging staff should retrieve a list of items with the location CATALOGING and update the Home Location to the appropriate permanent location.

Item Group Editor Method

  1. From the TECH toolbar, click on the Item Group Editorwizard.

  2. Input your Library Code in the Library field.
  3. Type CATALOGING in the Home Location field.
  4. Click Search.

  5. A list of items will be returned. You can print the results by selecting File > Print Screen.

BLUEcloud Analytics Method

  1. In BLUEcloud Analytics, locate the Cataloging Home Location report in the BCA OHIO > SHARED REPORTS > SEO REPORTS > MAINTENANCE folder.
  2. In the Item Library Code prompt, select your library code and click the single chevron arrow to move it to the Selectedcolumn.

  3. Click Run Report.

  4. Print or export the report as desired. For more information, refer to the BLUEcloud Analytics video tutorials.
