As a result of the recent Windows update, the Symphony Receipt Printer software required an updated version of the .NET framework in order to be able to use the hosted agency file solution. We have released an updated version of the software that has corrected this issue.
If you are experiencing issues with hosted transit slips, you will be presented with the following error message:
Please download and install the updated version of the Symphony Receipt Printer software. Both versions have been updated and are available below:
- EPSON Printers Only - Symphony Receipt Printer Software for EPSON - 1.2.0
- STAR Printers Only - Symphony Receipt Printer Software for STAR - 1.2.0
Before installing, close the Symphony Receipt Printer software in the system tray by right-clicking and choosing Close Symphony Receipt Printer as shown below:
Next, run the appropriate software and install as you normally would. Once installed, the Settings Utility should automatically launch and you'll need to ensure the Agencies File path is populated as shown below:
If it is not populated, please use one of the following agency file paths:
Agency File With Library Name
Agency File Without Library Name
Lastly, you'll need to launch the Symphony Receipt Printer software (search Symphony Receipt Printer and click to run) so it is running in the system tray and reload the configuration as shown below:
The configuration should reload successfully and now you can perform a test print.
