Displaying User Active & Inactive Holds

Viewing Active and Inactive Patron Holds

Use the Display User wizard to review a patron's hold history, including active, filled, and cancelled requests.

  1. From the CIRC toolbar, click the Display User wizard.
  2. Scan the user barcode number or use the User ID helper to search for the patron.
  3. Click on the Holds tab.

  4. At the bottom of the screen, use the Type of hold dropdown to filter the results:
    • All: Displays both active and inactive holds.
    • Inactive: Displays only filled, cancelled, and expired holds.

Note: Cancelled and expired holds remain visible in the Display User wizard for 90 days.
